How ThinkLikeTeens Works
Three steps, designed to fit into the twenty minutes after something goes wrong at home.
- 1
Describe the moment
You write what happened in your own words — the argument, the silence, the reaction you did not expect. There is no form to fill in and no assessment to complete.
- 2
Read a neutral interpretation
ThinkLikeTeens offers possible readings of what may be happening beneath the behaviour, framed as possibilities rather than conclusions. It does not decide who was right.
- 3
Choose how to respond
You get calmer ways to open the conversation, and things that commonly escalate it. What you do with that is entirely your call as the parent.
What you will not get
No diagnosis, no score, no judgement of your parenting, and no advice aimed at your teen. Interpretations are offered as possibilities, because no tool can know an individual young person.
