For parents of teenagers

Download ThinkLikeTeens

ThinkLikeTeens is a parent-focused perspective app from PANZICA Technologies that helps parents explore how everyday situations may be experienced from a teenager's point of view. Understand more before you react.

Perspective, not diagnosis. ThinkLikeTeens can't know what an individual teenager is thinking. Built by PANZICA Technologies · Privacy · Responsible use

Who it's for

Parents, guardians and caregivers of teenagers — especially in the stretch where a child who used to tell you everything suddenly tells you very little. It is written for the adult, not for the teenager, and it is not a monitoring or tracking tool.

The problem it addresses

Most parent–teen conflict isn't caused by a lack of love. It's caused by two people reading the same moment completely differently. A question feels like care on one side and like pressure on the other. ThinkLikeTeens exists to make that gap visible before the next conversation, instead of after it.

What you get

  • Understand before you react

See a difficult moment from more than one angle before you respond to it.

  • Describe it in your own words

No forms, no personality tests, no profile of your teenager to build first.

  • Neutral, non-judgemental perspective

No scoring of your parenting, and no verdict on your teen's character.

  • Better starting points for conversations

Practical ways to open a conversation that don't begin with an interrogation.

  • Private by design

Your situations are yours. They are not sold, published or used to build public AI models.

What it actually looks like

You describe a real situation in your own words. ThinkLikeTeens reflects it back from more than one angle.

You describe what happened

“My 15-year-old comes home from school, goes straight to their room and barely talks to us anymore.”

ThinkLikeTeens explores it with you
What you may be seeing
Withdrawal that feels like rejection, and a worry that something is being hidden.
What they may be experiencing
Seven hours of constant social performance, and a room that is the first place all day where nothing is being asked of them.
Where it can disconnect
A question at the door reads as care to you and as one more demand to them — so the door closes faster, which reads as more distance to you.
Questions worth considering
  • Is the timing of the conversation working against it?
  • What would change if the first thing said wasn't a question?
  • Is this a pattern, or a hard few weeks?

Illustrative example of the kind of perspective the app offers. ThinkLikeTeens offers possibilities, not conclusions about your teenager.

Privacy

What you describe stays yours. Situations you enter are not sold, not published and not used to train public AI models, and ThinkLikeTeens does not build a profile of your teenager beyond what you choose to share in the moment. Read the full privacy policy.

Important limitations

  • ThinkLikeTeens cannot know what your individual teenager is thinking.
  • It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice or a diagnosis.
  • It does not tell you how to parent, and it does not judge your teen.
  • Safety concerns belong with a doctor, counsellor or emergency service. See responsible use.
